Sunday of the month from 1:30pm-4:00pm . We also may do an outing or two a month, which may be an event, community service,
or fundraiser. ****Please be prompt when dropping off and picking up your child.
Registration: There is a one time non- refundable fee of $30.00 to join. Then the cost is $20.00
a year Due 1st Meeting in Aug.
Recruit Training: You must complete a registration
application and pay the registration fee before you’re Child starts recruit training. Training will consist of meetings,
and outings. The child will be tested by the unit staff to see if they are ready to become a Young Marine. The recruit will
need there full Young Marine uniform before being promoted to a Young Marine at the end of Recruit Training.
Personal Appearance/Military Standards:
Males will keep a proper haircut per Young Marines guildlines. Females will wear their hair pulled up in a bun or French braid
above the bottom of the collar of the camouflage blouse. The Young Marine will wear there Uniform to all meetings unless otherwise
specified.
Schedules/Parents Meetings: The 4th
Sunday of the Month is parents meeting starts at 1:00pm to address any concerns you have or cover the upcoming schedule. At
the regular meetings the next months schedules will be gone over and any information concerning upcoming trips or functions
will be pass out. A Hold Harmless Agreement is required at any time your child leaves the premises of our meeting place to
partake in a function, unless the Parent transports their child to and from the meeting site. If your child misses a meeting,
it is their responsibility to find out what they missed.
Fundraising: Young
Marines and Recruits must take part in the Fundraisings to receive the discounts to events. When your child helps with car
washes 50% of the profits will be put aside for his and other Young Marines use who help with the fundraiser. T4T Sales YM
can receive a prize for selling over 10 or $2.00 can go into their account for every ornament sold. If the Young Marine leaves or quit’s the unit the funds revert back to the unit.
Promotions: There is a rank structure
in the Young Marines starting from recruit to Sgt. Major. A Young Marine must graduate recruit training that’s where
the Young Marine will receive their first rank Private. Unless the Young Marine does a outstanding job through recruit training
then they may become Honor Recruit and receive the rank PFC. You must study the guidelines for your rank in the Young
Marines guide book to be promoted we will cover what we can at are meetings. There is a promotion board every 3 months. You
must have a recent PFT or HFT from the last Quarter to Qualify for the Promotion board. Other things that count for promotion
are appearance, PFT Score, Attendance, Community service.
Instructors/Volunteers: As a parents
you are welcome to become an adult volunteer . There is a list of job billets available . You must fill out a three-page application,
provide a photo of yourself and provide three written personal references with contact telephone numbers and addresses.
Meetings: Parents are welcome to observe
our meetings. However, we ask that you do not disrupt training or become involved in the training unless you are a registered
adult volunteer. If any other children accompany you to a meeting, they must be supervised at all times.
Summer Camps – We offer a wide verity of Summer camps ranging from Jr. law Cadet state police Academy, Spirit of America

to learn more about some of our summer camps. Some of the Unit summer camps require a 10% non-fundable downpayment. If your
Young Marine sign up for one of ours Summer camps and does not attend you you must reimburse the unit or HQ for that seat
in the camp.
Communities Service - Communities service
is a big part of the Young Marines Program. To receive the Young Marine Community Service ribbon they need 50 hrs of Community
Service. The Young Marines take part in the Presidential Service Award. To earn this award a Young Marine must have
100 hrs of community Service in a years time half of those hrs. must be done with the Young Marine Unit. Any Community service
hours outside the unit the Young Marine must have a sign document stating what he did who he did it for and how many hours.
The Right to Refrain: At the beginning
of every meeting, we will say the Pledge of Allegiance. Also, from time to time, the Young Marines Unit will hold functions
that you, as a Parent may prefer your child refrain from, due to religious, political or any other belief. Your child has
the right to refrain from any function that may infringe on their personal beliefs with parent’s consent.
